About

Two neighbors. One couch conversation.

Coastal Connect was born from a couch conversation between two neighbors — one a working realtor in the Myrtle Beach area, the other a business owner who already runs a residential service company on the South Carolina coast.

We were discussing the needs of the local industry — properties needing small fixes before showings, the back-and-forth of finding the right person, the friction of trying to schedule work into a calendar that's already moving. The work is there. The skilled people who can do it are there. What's missing is the bridge.

We quickly saw the same gap was everywhere — not just in real estate. Homeowners with weekend projects. Property managers between tenants. Business owners needing a storefront repair. AirBnB hosts on turnover. Anyone with a job that needs done. The trades community is right here in the coastal area — we just needed a way to connect.

Coastal Connect is that bridge. A free, simple directory of local businesses. Anyone can browse. Businesses reach out with a link to their site — that's the whole application. It's something we could build, so we built it, and we're offering it to the community as an outreach.

What we believe. A community that can find each other is stronger than one that can't. This is an outreach — we're offering our time and energy to build the connection point the coast should already have. The people who need work and the people who do work are already here. We just made it easier for them to find each other.

Coastal Connect is a DBA of Beyond Clean Solutions LLC — a South Carolina-formed residential services company serving the Little River community and the surrounding Myrtle Beach area. BCS handles yard cleanup, interior repairs, paint, fixture replacement, and trim work directly, and has spent years building relationships with the local trades community that Coastal Connect now formalizes into a network.

The neighborhood conversation that started this idea was a literal couch chat between Jan — the working realtor next door — and the owner of BCS. It was something we could build, so we built it. Now we're offering it to the community as a free connection point. It's an outreach — one more thing we do to bring local businesses and the people who need them a little closer.

Coastal Connect doesn't collect job posts, personal information, or payment details from anyone. It's a directory of local businesses. Find one whose site fits what you need, click through, and reach out to them directly.
